On feeling safe in Prague: I feel very safe here. I often walk our dog by myself at night and feel totally comfortable. We’re just outside the tourist centre, so our neighbourhood doesn’t get loud or rowdy. But it’s also not out in the suburbs where it would be completely dead.
Do as the locals do and decamp to the neighborhood pub or head off to catch a live show. The jazz and blues scene is especially rich. Of course, Czechia is famous for its high-quality, good-value beer – and rightly so. Alongside the beer halls and microbreweries, though, Prague is a surprisingly solid destination for a carefully crafted cocktail.
Lucerna Music Bar is a well-known music venue located in Prague. It regularly hosts concerts and club nights, including 80s and 90s Party which is popular with the Czech population. The venue has two concert halls and a large dance floor, making it an ideal place to enjoy live music.

Prague is a safe city, and the chance you would be a victim of a serious crime is low, almost non-existent. Like anywhere in the world, use your common sense when walking around the city, and when returning from a bar late at night, take a taxi in case you do not feel comfortable in a place you do not know.
