Despite the fact that the majority of Android devices are touchscreen based, keyboards and mice are natively supported by Android regardless of which version or device. As long as you can connect it (bluetooth or usb), it should work.

Connect the mouse USB to one of the USB ports (shown right) on the back or side of your computer. If you are using a USB port hub, connect the mouse cable to that hub. For myself, I used a Logitech K380 Bluetooth Keyboard because I like its ability to pair and connect to multiple devices.
