Very informative guide, ozzie owl, thank you for sharing! Unfortunately I have not found this in time and already had first transmission oil change (100'000km) done at repair shop. Apparently, they used suction to drain the oil. From 2 litres of Honda MTF that I gave, one bottle has some oil left. I am considering adding that.
1. Blue Smoke. The most obvious and a telltale sign that your Civic is burning oil is blue smoke. Blue smoke indicates that oil has made its way to the combustion chamber.
